shattered




One of the things I noticed in Glasgow is the broken bits of glass on the streets. Beer bottles and shop windows being smashed. Quite different to where I come from. It’s like a really raw, signs of violence just in our everyday life.

I took photos of everytime I encountered glass on the sidewalk.

I named all 4 pieces according to the distances of the places I photograph to where I lived in Glasgow. Just to have a sense how close to myself where the smashing happened. 

The series of photos were also exhitbit as prints. here for the installtion view
